The greatest slalom water skiers on the planet are coming to JB Ski in Chertsey, Surrey from the 14-16th July, 2017.

The inaugural Andy Mapple Pro Am, sponsored by MJC, will see world champions and challengers alike get down close and personal for one of the richest prizes in world water skiing, over a gruelling three day elimination process, culminating in Sunday afternoons exciting head2 head format.

The tournament is named after 5x world champion and Brit, Andy Mapple who won his first world championship at JB SKI in 1981. Mapple tragically passed away last year aged only 52.

And don't think GB suffers from any cold weather disadvantage. Mapple, known reverentially around the world as the Greatest Of All Time inspired, through his long term global dominance a rich slalom water skiing heritage in the UK.

Fellow Brits Will Asher - 2x world champion and Freddie Winter who is currently ranked number one in the World and who first put on a water ski at JB Ski, aged 8 will be aiming to win the title with strong opposition from the World’s top water skiers including World Champion and World record holder Nate Smith from the USA and Italy’s Thomas Degasperi.
