Lascelles Memorial Trust Grants Announced

Former BWSW Honorary President Major General Anthony Lascelles' estate left a major bequest to BWSW to support talented young atheletes. Each year the guardians of the trust fund accept applications from young athletes for grants to support their development in the sport.

Purpose of the Fund:
To assist and support highly promising young athletes from any IWWF recognised sporting division to win medals at European and World Championships.  This year the fund has made the following awards:

Presentations of the awards will take place at our Annual General Meeting at Queens Club on Sunday 20th January 2019.  A note of thanks to the trustees Lizz Hobbs MBE, Mark Beard, Karen Brooks, Graham Creedy, Nicky Caine and Carl Turp for their time and effort with the Trust in assessing and awarding this year's grants.  The Lascelles Trust continues to seek donations to maintain the fund and its work in supporting young athletes - if you would like to contribute to the fund please contact Patrick Donovan, CEO at our HQ.
