BWSW is firmly committed to safeguarding the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable people in our sport.  We have worked closely with the Child Protection In Sport Unit (CPSU) over many years to develop robust policies and related procedures, also achieving the CPSU's National Advanced Standards for safeguarding. 

We now are seeking a suitably skilled and experienced person to act as our Lead Safeguarding Officer to manage, develop and implement our safeguarding policies and procedures.  The successful applicant will display a friendly and confident personality, will have good people skills / ability to empathise along with keen attention to detail.  Whilst an understanding of safeguarding and good practice is required, additional and ongoing training can be provided.

Location of work is flexible however it is anticipated that there will be some attendance at our HQ on occasion and some additional travel.
