BWSW Qualified Boat Driver / Coach

Term: Seasonal - Closing date: 30/4/24

After a successful summer season, and looking towards summer 2024, Tallington Lakes Water Ski and Wakeboard centre is looking for an water ski and wakeboard driver/coach; to work flexible hours from April through to October including weekend work. A BWSW qualification is mandatory.

Duties will include:

  • Undertaking sessions from the water ski and wakeboard syllabus including large school groups, kids clubs and private one to one lessons.
  • Maintaining all aspects of the water ski and wakeboard department.
  • Undertaking and assisting with other on site activities, where appropriate.
  • Assisting with the day to day running and maintenance of the Tallington Lakes Water Ski and Wakeboard Centre.
  • Qualifications and experience in other activities are desirable.

The successful candidate must be passionate about water skiing, wakeboarding and watersports, teaching to all ages and standards, and eager to push our business forward. Whilst furthering their own skills and knowledge within the different activities at Tallington Lakes. Accommodation is available if needed.

Qualifications ...

  • Ski Boat Driver Level 1 (SBD1) (minimum)  
  • BWSW Level 1 Coach (preferred)

Certifications...

Desirable but not essential: 

  • Frist Aid 
  • Enhanced DBS
  • Safeguarding

Wakeboard Cable Supervisor / Coach

Cable Operator

Term: 6 months (initially)
Closing Date: 6th April 2024

You will be responsible for operating the cable machine along with other related tasks, a good attention to detail and fast-thinking ability are important for this task. You will also be required to instruct participants in kneeboarding, water-skiing and wakeboarding in accordance with British Wakeboard and Waterski (BWSW) training, for this a friendly and approachable manner will be important. The main focus of this role will be to ensure the safety and enjoyment of our customers.

 Skills and Experience ...

A good understanding of full-size cable riding and the ability to wakeboard to a good standard yourself, quick thinking, friendly and approachable manner, 18+ years, good practical skills.

  • Full-size cable operator qualification

  • First Aid Certificate
  • Enhanced Disclosure Check (DBS / PVG) Certificate
