Seven GB cable wakeboarders are in Slovakia for the 2026 IWWF European & African Youth and Senior Cable Wakeboard and Wakeskate Championships. The competition takes place next week.

The athletes are among 174 competitors who will test their skills on the features and obstacles at the Wakelake cable park in Bratislava. 

The opening ceremony takes place on Tuesday 25 August with the competition getting underway on Wednesday.

The British competitors are:

Under 14s

• Noah Barrett

Under 18s

• Jessie Saunders, Amber Flegg, Finnley Barker, Samuel Rozputynski 

Over 40s

• Karena Clayton, Stephanie Williams-Caller

The GB Team Captain for the event is Kieran Saunders.
