It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Monica Hazelwood. . .

Monica was the wife of Maurice Hazelwood; the head of what can be seen as a dynasty of water skiing in Great Britain.

"I first met Monica and Maurice as team captains of the Junior and Dauphine teams over 50 years ago, on banks of the Italian National training centre in Pusiano Italy, at the European Junior and Dauphine Championships in1975.

I remember Monica with affection, always greeting me with a warm smile at all the events the family hosted and my sincere condolences go to all her family."
