Sensational Success for Barefooters at Euros

Great Britain’s barefoot waterskiers are coming home with an impressive haul of 13 medals from the 2025 European Championships in France.
The competition, held in Chartres from 13-16 August, was a triumph for the squad, with six gold, one silver and five bronze medals.
THE MEDALS
- Matilda Mulcahy – Junior Girls. Three golds in slalom, tricks & overall
- Tom Heaps – Open Men. Three golds in tricks, jump & overall
- Rick Moyes – Open Men. Three bronzes in tricks, slalom & overall
- Paul Turner – Senior Men. Two bronzes in tricks & overall
- Olly Moore – Junior Boys. One bronze in jump
- Team – silver
There were many other excellent results from the 10-strong GB squad with several fourth, fifth and sixth places to add to the medals.
