Six Waterskiers to Represent GB at 2026 World U17 Champs

A team of three girls and three boys have travelled to Argentina to compete for Great Britain at the 2026 World Under 17 Waterski Championships. The competition takes place from 1 to 5 April.
Among the squad are the three Cosgrove siblings, James (16), Isabel (14) and Lara (12). It will be the first time that all three have competed at an international championships together.
Isabel, known as Issy, has already achieved success at the international level.
Her first major medal was at the 2024 Europe & Africa Youth Championships where she won bronze in the Under 14 Girls' slalom event.
Then, at the 2025 Europe & Africa Youth Championships, she won three U14 golds - in slalom, tricks and overall - as well as a silver in jump.

James and Issy will compete in slalom, tricks and jump. Lara will compete in slalom and tricks.
The other team members are Harley Coster (15), Charlie Fearn (16) and Willow Skipsey (16), all of whom are entered in all three events.
Harley and Charlie are also European medallists. Harley won Under 14 Boys' jump gold in 2024 as well as silver overall and bronze in both slalom and tricks. Charlie was the 2023 Under 14 Boys' jump bronze medallist.

The squad members have been training in Florida, USA, and travelled to Argentina on Thursday 26th March in preparation for the Championships.
They are being supported by Team Captain Alex Cosgrove and Team Coach, Ben Turp.
