The youngsters have been selected to represent Great Britain at the 2026 Europe & Africa Youth Waterski Championships, which take place in Greece from 19 to 23 August.

The five females and five males are aged12 and 17. They include reigning and former European Champions and medallists as well as three athletes making their Team GB debut.

There are two separate competitions at the Championships – one for the Under 14s and the other for the Under 17s.

The Under 17s include reigning European Champion Isabel ‘Issy’ Cosgrove. At the 2025 Euros, when she was competing in the Under 14 Girls’ category, she won three gold medals (slalom, tricks and overall) and a silver medal (jump).

Issy will be joined in the Under 17s by her brother James. Their younger sister Lara, who’s 12, will compete in Under 14 Girls. The Cosgrove siblings will all compete in the three events of slalom, tricks and jump.

Harley Coster joins Isabel and James in the Under 17 team.  Harley was the European Under 14 Boys’ Jump Champion in 2024. In the same year he won silver overall and bronze in both slalom and tricks.  He will again compete in all three events.

The rest of the Under 17 squad is made up of Charlie Fearn, who was a bronze medallist in Under 14 Boys’ Jump in 2023, Willow Skipsey and Myla Roberts. Myla is making her debut representing GB. She will compete in slalom and tricks while the others will compete in all three events.

Joining Lara Cosgrove in the Under 14s is Buddy Carrington, who won bronze in Under 14 Boys’ Tricks at the 2025 Euros.  He will compete only in tricks. Two more Team GB debutants make up the U14 team.  They are Isabella Neale and Etienne Barron (both three events).

The squad will be accompanied by Team Captain, Ben Turp.

The Championships take place at Stratos Lake, Agrinio, Greece.
