It can be difficult to determine where abuse has occurred, particularly in a sports club environment. Staff and volunteers are not experts in recognising where this has happened however all adults working and volunteering within our sport have a duty of care to be aware, vigilant and respond appropriately to any concerns they have regarding poor practice, abuse or bullying.

If you have any concerns about possible poor practice, abuse or bullying within the sport or outside of the sport, speak to your Club Welfare Officer or contact the BWSW Lead Safeguarding Officers for guidance and support
